Gbenga is a registered architect, adjunct professor, design mentor and global leader connecting people by creating smart and sustainable buildings and cities. He is the Project Director and Lead Architect of the 100,000-seat stadium-like sanctuary, of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, prophetically called, 'The Ark,’ which would be the largest covered stadium structure in the world upon completion.

Gbenga has a Ph.D. in Architecture with a special interest in architectural structures. His interest in architectural structures sparked his flair for long-span and large-scale buildings. He serves as the Project Director and Lead Architect of the 100,000-seat stadium-like sanctuary, of the Living Faith Church WorldWide, prophetically called, 'The Ark Legacy Project which would be the largest covered stadium structure in the world upon completion.

Gbenga focuses on connecting people by creating smart and sustainable buildings and cities. He has led the design and construction of several large-scale and infrastructural projects across Nigeria and a few African countries ranging from stadiums, megachurches, shopping malls, airports, high-rise buildings, educational facilities, housing estates, road construction, wastewater treatment plants, power plant among others.

As part of his project work, Gbenga has served as the Director, Physical Planning and Development, at Living Faith Church Worldwide and Covenant University. His wide range of experience spans Design, Campus Planning and Design, Project Management & Facilities Management.

Gbenga sits on the board of Young Breeds and Young Disciples International YDI, faith-based youth development institutions in Nigeria. He is a regular lecturer at the Department of Architecture of Covenant University, Africa's No. 1 private University ranked in the top 10 in Africa and top 500 in the world by Times Higher Education.

He is a registered Architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).
