My Journey & Mileage
My focus is on connecting people by creating smart and sustainable buildings and cities. My interest in architectural structures sparked my flair for long-span and large-scale buildings. I have had the privilege to lead the design and construction of several large-scale and infrastructural projects across Nigeria and a few African countries ranging from stadiums, megachurches, shopping malls, airports, high-rise buildings, educational facilities, housing estates, road construction, wastewater treatment plants, power plant among others.
I serve as the Project Director and Lead Architect of the 100,000-seat stadium-like sanctuary, of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, prophetically called, 'The Ark Legacy Project which would be the largest covered stadium structure in the world upon completion.

Architectural Practice
My wide range of experience spans design, campus planning and design, project management and facilities management. I’m a registered Architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). I also hold an executive education from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom on Steering Complex Projects.
Education & Development
I have a PhD in Architecture with a focus on architectural structures. My vision for education is to democratize higher education as a catalyst for Africa’s development. I do this through my research contributions and as a regular lecturer at the Department of Architecture of Covenant University, Africa’s No. 1 private University ranked in the top 10 in Africa and top 500 in the world by Times Higher Education.
Thought Leadership
I convene a design community, called ‘JD’ Just Design, focused on democratizing design learning and design products. Here, I mentor emerging and established design professionals to promote design excellence. Occasionally, I also speak at knowledge-sharing sessions, conferences, and workshops globally on design, architectural structures, higher education and project management. I do this virtually and physically.

Since the commencement of construction in March, 2021, God has been building and men have been watching. See the construction progress. This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.
